The Contact Page

This project had the direct objective of creating a series of illustrations for the word ''Contact'', so that it would be possible to create an animated GIF for my website.

But since I didn't want it to be simple, the idea was created to be able to illustrate it with different concepts, which inspire my creations and my life in general. Scroll down to find out!

For this work, I used a set of selected fonts by the artist Martina Flor. Looking through these choices, understanding and being able to reproduce the message. You can check this package on the official Adobe website by clicking here.

Oh my... out of ink!

TIn search of a classic aesthetic and exploration of new elements, to compose my creative range, I wanted to use classic elements of writing and drawing to compose a canvas that represents those small layers of subtlety and class that I try to convey in some of my compositions.

In this illustration, I used the Volina font, by Dalton Maag.

In this second, I tried to illustrate in a clear and direct way the message I would like to convey. I experimented with some textures on the lens of the glasses and on the frame to achieve different effects. This piece was mostly a study of textures and brushes.

Aliens really exist?

To tell you a little about the pop culture that I carry and a little Sci-Fi, I illustrated this with one of the most acclaimed extraterrestrial stories existing in our culture, the cow abducted by UFO's.

In this one, I used the Manicotti font, by David Jonathan Ross.

Fire is better?

In this, I wanted to tell a little about the great influence that the great era of energy, the industrial revolution and the entire mechanical industry influenced me in a certain way in the direction of life. Before working effectively with art, I consistently participated in aeronautical mechanical projects during college, and by a thread it was not my future projection. I have always been inspired by the fathers of energy, but even more, how human beings have built strong civilizations without even using effectively, power poles, but FIRE!

Colors and more colors!

As I always like to make clear in my illustrations, bright colors are precious to me. Nothing better than registering here my close relationship with large accumulations of colors and vivid elements. I wanted to bring an editorial aspect by inserting elements that can refer to the social, alluding to a conversation between friends.

My lovely green and yellow country.

It would be impossible to make a representation like this and it cannot include my country of origin, Brazil! I am very proud to be Brazilian and to belong to these green and yellow lands with blue skies. An emblematic way of translating a little of our culture is bringing a symbol that has been around for years, and is still present, on our tables and economy, coffee!

For this homage, I used the font Oddity Script, by Giuseppe Salerno.

Oh, a letter for me?

In the latter, but not least, I want to illustrate a little bit of the path I'm taking within illustration. Even looking for wings within the advertising market, I have a strong attachment to editorial, having as an emblematic symbol of childhood, magazine covers, headlines and great illustrations in scientific and curiosities books!
